Isle of Bute with my Son Anthony

Easter  weekend and the boy and myself headed for the south west of Scotland, Our aim was to paddle around the north of Bute. The weather was a little hit and miss but the lad made me very proud in his positive attitude.

We made our way to the north of the island and set up camp at the kayak trail shelter.

The following morning we made our way back down the east coast, we where hampered by several squalls but the weather was on our back so we made great progress.

After the mother of all squalls I think the boy was happy to finally get off the water, really proud of this man..
