A trip aimed at introducing club members to white water, putting on at Mickley and heading down to Slenningford. Several of us went along in open canoes to act as support to the other club coaches in case any of the young and in-experienced paddlers became tired or cold along the journey.
Once all the kids where off the water safely above Slenningford the rest of us carried on down the main rapid for a little self indulgent fun. A lovely day albeit the low river conditions, everyone had fun and a very positive day for the club on a whole.
