Another lovely day on the river, low water levels and high summer weed made fishing a little awkward but we did manage to hook and lose a nice trout.
But on such a beautiful day who cares about fishing...

Both Fi and myself made the long trip up north to experience the delights of paddling around Orkney. The excuse was to attend the symposium but we also spent eight days on expedition discovering this delightful place.

SOT Course - Filey
I, with Rod hosted a basic sit on top course for local paddlers within the shelter of Filey Bay, great fun was had by all with a little bit of learning thrown in to boot..




Yorkshire Coast Mini Exped
George and myself took ourselves off for a couple of nights camping and paddling, setting up camp at Hayburn Wyke.

Anglers Afloat Disability Day
Llangorse Lake, Brecon was the venue for a disability sailing and kayaking fun day. AnglersAfloat.co.uk in association with Powys County Council (via Llandrindod Sports Centre), Disability Sport Wales, and the Llangorse Sailing Club held the event on a calm, sunny Saturday in June.





And even a chance for a spot of fishing afterwards...

Up to Scotland and the wonderful digs on Crinan harbour, a beautiful house straight off the slip, George a real credit to you for organising that one. We even had time for a bit of sight seeing.
